Thinking of warmer days and lunchtime walks…

Seeing this article a few days ago about the benefits of lunchtime walks has me dreaming of springtime already.  (Although the snow today is very pretty!) I don’t get a chance often to take time for lunch.  I can be found eating at my desk, eating during meetings or just skipping lunch altogether – none of these are healthy. However, I have been known to make the check-in meetings with my individual team members walking meetings.  These are best for brainstorming new ideas or working out issues with projects.

Solos walks are also great to just clear my head.  There is something about walking through the busy streets of Manhattan that help me focus.  A very different kind of meditation.  It relieves my stress and I am often able to find a solution to the issues that have been weighing on my mind.
